AI is not only accelerating the speed of attacks but also enabling cybercriminals to exploit vulnerabilities at an unprecedented scale. Information security teams are now leveraging agentic AI to identify potential exploits, but this has created a new challenge: the need for rapid patching to prevent security breaches. The race is on, and organizations must adapt quickly to stay ahead of the curve. The key to overcoming the speed of cyber-attacks lies in preparation. According to James Ellison OBE, director of national resilience at the UK National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), organizations must have a plan in place for responding to suspicious activity.
